Andiamo is the only living licensed son of the legendary Hannoverian stallion, ABSATZ. Andiamo won the Danish 100 day test in 1996. He is licensed in five German Verbands. In 1999 the German Equine press reported the Andiamo had grown into being a superstar stallion but unfortunately was exported to Denmark. It was noted at the last licensing of the Oldenburg Breeding Association that Andiamo was the grandsire of both licensed stallions and auction horses as well as the three year old champion, Wunder's Star. (Weltmeyer/Andiamo). Andiamo competes both at International Grand Prix jumping as well as Intermediare Dressage.


In his first foal crop, two were chosen for the elite auction in Vechta. Because of his success as a sire, Andiamo was Reserve Champion at the main prize giving event in Oldenburg. His offspring have been bestsellers at many elite auction including, Alec Guiness at Vechta in 1993. In 1995-97 Andiamo's offspring were selected for Vechta with above average prices paid. In 1997 a newly licensed son was sold in Verden to Landesgestuet Redefin in Germany and in 1998 he won the 100 day test. The German index figures from 1997 show that Andiamo is a dressage producer of international standard. On a list of younger stallions he is number eight in dressage with 137 points and a 70% conception rate. In combined jumping and dressage he ranks as number ten among all younger stallions.

Sire: ABSATZ Absatz, a legend in his own right, is by the Trakhener stallion Abglanz.

Damsire: FURIOSO II Furioso II was named the stallion of the 20th Century by the German press.

Dam: FURORE Furore is sister to the breeding stallion FURIOSO Z who is active at the Zangersheide stud in Belgium. Her dam, Gonzaline, by Gotthard, had nine foals out of which six were sold at the elite foal auction at Verden, Germany.
